UAE citizens get visa-free entry to Tajikistan

Several other countries have also eased their visa requirements for UAE nationals this year



The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has announced that UAE citizens can now visit Tajikistan without a visa.

The change applies to holders of diplomatic, private and regular passports and is intended to strengthen bilateral ties.

Several other countries have also eased their visa requirements for UAE nationals this year including Chad and Japan.

The UAE became the first Arab country and the second in the Middle East to receive an EU visa waiver.

The goal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is to make the UAE passport among the five most powerful in the world.
