Saudi Arabia has officially appointed Adeeb al-Aama as its OPEC governor, replacing Mohammed al-Madi.
The appointment was made recently, two industry sources said.
Aama worked as deputy managing director at Saudi Aramco’s office in London, according to his LinkedIn profile.
The Organisation for Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) has updated its website to include Aama as governor.
