The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is set to re-open on October 19 following a five-month refurbishment, the Jumeirah Group has confirmed.

The hotel will have a more “contemporary ambiance” and new dining experiences.

The look of the hotel has been changed with white, gold and blue accents, with a revamped lobby atrium offering views of the Burj Al Arab. The lobby ceiling also now features three kinetic art installations, representing underwater flora, light on water, and the glow of the sun.

Each of the 599 rooms and suites across 11 categories have been upgraded.

Dining concepts will include returning outlets D&A, La Parilla and Uptown Bar, while Villa Beach, Beachcombers and Ocean Blue, have been transformed into a trio of beachfront drinking and dining options.

Previously called Latitude, the family dining hub Kitchen Connection now features nine interactive cooking stations for breakfast, lunch and dinner. While Palm Court has been changed into Pearl Lounge, serving gourmet dishes and tea.

A new Kids Club has also been added, while guests will continue to have unlimited access to Wild Wadi Waterpark.

Jose Silva, Jumeirah Group CEO said: “In 1997 Jumeirah Beach Hotel was Dubai’s pioneer in luxury beach hotels.

“The Jumeirah Beach Hotel has welcomed more than one million guests since it opened in 1997. The hotel, which has evolved from a classic beach resort to a contemporary five-star family destination, retains its spirit of timeless fun, yet offers an elevated experience of relaxed luxury.”

Rates start at over Dhs1,800 per night.
