Oman says December oil output slightly lower

More than 90 per cent of Oman’s oil exports went to China

Oman pumped 995,191 barrels per day (bpd) in December, 1.76 percent lower than November, its oil ministry said on Thursday.

Exports dropped by 11.17 per cent to 103,400 bpd while supply to Oman Oil Refineries and Petroleum Industries Company (ORPIC) rose 71 per cent from November, it said.

More than 90 per cent of Oman’s oil exports went to China.

Oman has said it would cut output by 45,000 bpd under a global supply agreement between OPEC and non-OPEC producers reached late last year.
