The Indian Hotels Company (IHC), behind the Taj Brand, has announced an agreement for its fourth property in Dubai.

The Taj Deira Creek, which comes under a deal with Investment Corporation of Dubai unit Ithraa, will be located on the upcoming Deira Waterfront.

It is planned to have 200 rooms and suites, all-day and speciality dining restaurants, a bar and lounge, banqueting facilities and a spa.

“The Middle East is a significant market for IHCL. We are honoured to partner with Ithra Dubai for this new hotel in Deira – the historical and cultural center of Dubai. IHCL has a long tradition of managing marquee hotels with rich heritage links across the world,” said IHC CEO Puneet Chhatwal.

The property is scheduled to open in early 2022.

Taj currently operates a hotel in Dubai’s Business Bay and has two others set to open in Jumeirah Lake Towers and on the Palm Jumeirah in late 2018 and 2019 respectively.

IHC also recently announced a hotel deal in Saudi’s Makkah.
