Condé Nast International Restaurants, a division of the global publisher of Vogue magazine, has announced the opening of GQ Bar in Dubai later this year.
The bar and restaurant will be launched in the world’s tallest hotel, JW Marriot Marquis, in October in partnership with the local licensees, Inspired Brands.
Set across two floors, GQ Bar will serve lunch and dinner with the menu created by Condé Nast International Restaurants’ chef and deputy director, Gary Robinson.
This will be the group’s second restaurant in Dubai, following the launch of the Vogue Café in The Dubai Mall earlier this year.
“It’s a very exciting time at Condé Nast International Restaurants,” said Stuart Nielsen, director of the division.
“In less than a month, we have opened our first restaurant in the Middle East, Vogue Café at The Dubai Mall, for which we have received positive and encouraging feedback, and now after securing a magnificent location, we’re able to share details of our second venture in the region.”
GQ Bar in Dubai will be the third international outlet for the brand after Moscow and Istanbul.
Condé Nast International Restaurants also holds the licence for the Vogue Café and TATLERClub in Moscow, and will soon launch Vogue Club in Bangkok and Singapore.
