Emirates to allow extra baggage of up to 15kgs on certain flights

The allowance is for economy class passengers on certain flights



Dubai airline Emirates is allowing extra baggage of up to 15kgs for economy class passengers on certain flights as part of a new promotion.

The extra baggage offer is in addition to the existing free baggage allowance of 30kgs, but will only be applicable to tickets purchased in UAE for travel starting in Dubai.

It is also valid for sale until September 30, 2017 and travel until December 13, 2017. Certain other conditions also apply.

Passengers flying to the following cities will have extra baggage allowance of 15kgs: Abidjan, Accra, Dakar, Entebbe, Harare, Luanda, Lagos, Lusaka, Manila, Cairo, Casablanca, Nairobi, Addis Ababa, Algiers Guangzhou and Dar Es Salaam.

Meanwhile, the airline will allow an additional 10kgs per passenger on flights to Amman, Islamabad, Kabul, Khartoum, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Tunisia and Peshawar.

It will also allow for 10kgs extra baggage on select flights to certain other cities.
