Dubai developer Damac Properties has launched its first hotel villa concept, Nova, within its AKOYA Oxygen community, it announced on Saturday.

Villas range from three to six bedroom units with prices starting at Dhs1,753,700, the company said in a statement.

Set in an enclave within the 55 million sq ft AKOYA Oxygen development, Nova Hotel Villas come with a private garden, library, fully-fitted kitchen, décor and sound system.

The villas will also feature energy efficient materials, lighting and controls, low-emission paint and solar water heating systems.

The units are part of the Damac Maison Hotels & Resorts rental pool scheme, allowing owners to generate returns on their property while they are away.

“Nova Hotel Villas offer a total new segment to the luxury real estate market in Dubai and will be the best option for a second home in Dubai,” said Niall McLoughlin, SVP, Damac Properties.

“The process of making the villas personal starts before owners move in, by instructing our team of interior designers and decorators on your personal taste, resulting in a fully furnished home which is aligned to your personal tastes,” he added.

Launched last year, AKOYA Oxygen, located in Dubailand, will feature residential, hospitality, retail and entertainment units surrounding the Trump World Golf Club, Dubai – which is being designed by Tiger Woods.

The community will also include a five-star international hotel and a luxury wellness centre that offers yoga progammes, herbal treatments, an organic market place along with a number of international retail and leisure brands. With plans to include vast green areas, the development will also offer dedicated spaces for bicycles and hybrid cars.

One of Dubai’s most active property developers, Damac has delivered around 14,000 units as of March 31, 2015 and has a development portfolio of over 37,000 units at various stages of progress and planning.

The company is also focussing on building its hospitality portfolio, operated under the Damac Maison Hotels & Resorts and NAIA Hotels & Resorts brands, which currently includes 13,000 hotel rooms, serviced hotel apartments and serviced villas.
