Dubai developer Damac Properties has awarded a contract worth Dhs40m for roads and infrastructure works at Vardon cluster within its Akoya Oxygen project.

The contract has been awarded to Proscape, Damac said in a statement.

It did not specify the timeline for the works to be completed.

The Vardon cluster will feature over 2,000 luxury hotel apartments, and a promenade offering high-end shopping, dining and entertainment.

Spread across 55 million square feet in Dubailand, the overall Akoya Oxygen includes residential and hospitality properties of various sizes surrounding an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Tiger Woods – which will also feature a clubhouse, restaurants and a pro-shop.

The golfer also visited the property to oversee its progress in February. The golf club will be the second in Dubai to be operated by the Trump Organization.
