Dubai-based Azizi Developments has announced plans to launch two new mega projects at Meydan One in the last quarter of this year.
The projects will be four times the size and value of its Dhs12bn Azizi Riviera waterfront project – also located in Meydan One district, the developer said in a statement. No further details were disclosed.
Azizi Riviera includes 69 mid-rise residential buildings with 13,000 units of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, a retail district and a four and a five-star hotel.
The project began construction in July this year with the completion of phase one and two scheduled for the second half of 2018.
At Cityscape exhibition, Azizi revealed that phase one and 50 per cent of phase two of the development have been sold out.

Azizi Riviera is the first project announced after Azizi signed a partnership with Meydan Group earlier this year.
The wider Meydan One development will feature the 711 metres-tall Dubai One Tower, Meydan One Mall, a five-star hotel, a civic plaza with dancing water fountains, an indoor sports facility, a 4km canal and a marina.
It is expected to house more than 83,000 residents when complete.
Work on the Meydan One Mall began in March this year, and when ready, it will have the world’s longest indoor ski slope, a 131,150 sq ft hypermarket and a retractable skylight roof. It will also host 620 retail shops, with two major department stores and regional firsts, 100 food and beverage outlets and a 21-screen cinema with a food court.
